Dr. Stacey Paukovitz Is Board Certified By The American Board Of Foot And Ankle Surgery And A Diplomat Of The American College Of Foot And Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Paukovitz has been in private practice for 22 years and treats the entire spectrum of foot and ankle conditions. From sports-related injuries to common skin and nail disorders, from problems requiring elective surgery to more advanced reconstructive procedures, and from children to elders, Dr. Paukovitz is here to help you. She is a graduate of The Temple School of Podiatric Medicine and completed three years of foot and ankle surgical training at The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Paukovitz has extensive experience in lower extremity wound care as she also trained at a Curative Wound Care Center, specializing in diabetic wound care and limb salvage. Following residency, she worked in private practice in Washington DC and served as an attending physician for the Washington Hospital Center Surgical Residency Program. She has been practicing in New Jersey since 2002.

Dr. Paukovitz’s passion for sports medicine and interest in athletic injuries grew following an injury requiring reconstructive knee surgery. She was a four-year Division I Basketball player and Captain of the Fordham University Woman’s Basketball team where she was a two-time Patriot League Scholar Athlete of the Year, two-time Patriot League All-League selection, Team MVP and a career 1,000-point scorer. Dr. Paukovitz graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Pre Med/Biology and a MS in Biology/Education and received Phi Beta Kappa Honors.

Dr. Paukovitz resides in Monmouth County with her two daughters-- Brooke and Jordyn, and her three dogs---Champ, Gus, and Cassie.

Dr. Paukovitz believes that taking the time to listen to her patients regarding their foot and ankle issues is the key to formulating a specific treatment plan. Strong patient education and involvement allows for the best overall outcome and a happy patient. Conservative care will be always attempted first. If surgery is required, you will be guided through the process beginning with the procedure and what to expect during the recovery period.
